These NEW SLOW RELEASE Ant Nematodes are encapsulated in small pellets, which means they LAST LONGER, they do NOT need to be refrigerated, you can use what you want and close the lid until the next time and are VERY easy to apply i.e. just shake them out over the surface of the compost – no need to dilute and water on. Ants nests in lawns and borders can be a real problem. Tackle them by applying SLOW RELEASE Ant Nematodes containing natural nematodes (steinernema feltiae) directly to the nests. SLOW RELEASE Ant Nematodes control ants of all colours (including red ones) in lawns and borders and should be applied when the ants are present and the soil temperature is above 10°C i.e anytime between April and October.

SLOW RELEASE Ant Nematodes contain harmless nematodes, which will infect and kill the larvae and will irritate the adults, so that they abandon the nest and disperse. These NEW SLOW RELEASE Ant Nematodes contain Steinernema Feltiae nematodes that are safe to use on food crops, safe for children, pets and wildlife and are very easy to apply. Supplied in a shaker tube, this pack contains 10 million nematodes and will treat up to 50 ants nests or 16 sqm. Simply repeat as often as is needed to keep the area free of ants – it is impossible to overdose & is totally safe to use near food crops.
