Replace traditional peat based grow bags with these environmentally friendly Coir Grow Bags. These Coir Grow Bags come with compressed coir compost inside, which once soaked will swell to fill the bag providing the perfect conditions for growing tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, cucumbers or strawberries etc. Measuring  100cm x 15cm width x 12cm deep, simply cut holes in the top and plant them up – 3 plants is ideal for tomatoes etc. and are perfect for planting up individual tomato, cucumber, pepper, chilli plants etc. These Coir Grow Bags are PEAT FREE, so they are better for the environment and your plants – coir compost has just the right balance of water and air for healthy root growth.

Coir Grow Bags are made from compressed coir, so simply cut a hole in the top and then fill the bag with water and watch the coir swell to make the ideal growing medium (100 cm x 15 cm x 12 cm in size). Once the coir has fully expanded, stab some holes in the bottom of the bag to allow excess water to drain and to provide drainage on-going. Ideal for planting up with our Coir Grow Cubes / fruit / vegetable plants. Coir Grow Bags are SOLD AS A TWIN PACK.

• For growing on Coir Grow Cubes – Once your plants are established in the Coir Grow Cubes, simply make holes in the top of the Grow Bag, add the Coir Grow Cubes and firm it in.
• Planting vegetable plants – Use these grow bags to plant up with tomato, cucumber, aubergine, pepper and strawberry plants etc.

N.B. Coir compost is completely neutral, so it is important to feed your plants once you have potted them up into the Planter Bags – our Seaweed Feed is ideal.
