NemaCan Watering Can for Nematodes

Full Description

Nematode application methods – Nematodes are supplied as a powder, which is mixed with water and applied directly to the soil with :-

• Standard Packs of nematodes can be applied with a watering can fitted with a Coarse Rose or with the NEW NemaCan Watering Can. They can also be applied with a EasyNem Applicator or Hose-end Feeder.  N.B. Standard packs of Nemasys Vine Weevil Killer MUST be applied with a watering can and cannot be applied with a hose-end feeder / nematode applicator.
• Large Packs of nematodes can be applied with a watering can fitted with a Coarse Rose or with the NEW NemaCan Watering Can, but it is much easier to apply nematodes to larger areas with with a EasyNem Applicator or Hose-end Feeder. 
  
• For larger Spraying Jobs i.e. for applying Nemasys Fruit and Vegetable Protection to hedges to control Box Tree Caterpillar, use a Pressure Sprayer or a Rechargeable 5L Sprayer.

Fine as Rain no.14 Rose – Watering cans need to be fitted with a coarse rose, which will allow the nematodes to flow easily. We recommend using the Fine as Ran Coarse Rose Rose no.14, as not all roses are suitable – its large holes will not clog when applying nematodes. It has a universal fitting that allows it to slide onto most watering cans 0 measures 17mm to 30mm.

NemaCan Watering Can – This 7.5L Watering Can comes complete with an integral rose, which has larger than normal holes making it ideal for applying nematodes as it does not get blocked. It features a Hoselock connector, so it can be filled quickly and easily via a standard hosepipe. The Rose can also be flipped back to allow for easy pouring.

EasyNem Applicator – Designed specifically for applying nematodes, this EasyNem Applicator makes applying nematodes much easier.  It attaches via standard hose-pipe connector – simply add the nematodes to the feeder bowl and water for 5-7 minutes – during this time the nematodes will be dispersed at the correct rate. The Applicator can also be used for applying liquid feed to plants and lawns – perfect for applying Root Success to help lawns recover from a pest attack. 

Hose-end feeder – Used for applying nematodes to larger areas, this feeder can also be used for applying liquid feed to plants and lawns. Attaches via standard hose-pipe connector and features both a rose head and jet spray as well as an on / off switch for water flow. We supply the Miracle Gro Hose-end Feeder as not all of them are suitable for applying nematodes.

The 5 litre Rechargeable Sprayer – This sprayer features a rechargeable 5v battery, which makes it the easy way to apply nematodes, weed killer, pest control sprays & fertilisers around the garden / nursery – no more pumping to maintain pressure! Ideal for applying Nemasys Fruit and Vegetable Protection to hedges i.e. for controlling Box Tree Caterpillar.

Pressure Sprayers – are available in 2 sizes – 2L and 5L. They all have adjustable nozzles making them ideal for applying natural sprays, weed-killers and nematodes.  The long lance and adjustable nozzle allows you to direct the spray exactly where required. They feature a 50cm lance with a long tube, a trigger lock for continuous spraying, a pumping handle for ease of use and a large opening for easy to filling. It also comes with a shoulder strap.  It also has an automatic pressure relief valve for safety.
