    Fuchsia gall mite is a microscopic pest that can cause extensive damage affecting the appearance of fuchsias. The pest mites are tiny and cannot be seen with the naked eye, but there affects on the plants is easily spotted - look out for distorted foliage. Control Fuchsia Gall Mite by introducing Amblyseius Andersonii once new growth appears. If your plants have suffered in previous years, then introduce as a preventative measure, but if your plants are already infected, then cut the affected growth out and then introduce Amblyseius Andersonii. Amblyseius Andersonii is supplied in sachets WITH food - simply hang sachets on the affected plants BOTH INDOORS and OUTDOORS. Amblyseius Andersonii is a living, perishable product, so please order when the temperature is suitable (min daytime temp 10c - no max) and you are ready to position the sachets on the plants.   2. Viburnham Beetle Nematodes

    Viburnum beetles and their larvae feed on the foliage often reducing it to "lace" can defoliate viburnums - most of the damage is caused by the larvae in spring, but the adult beetles also attack the leaves in late summer. A common symptom is Viburnum tinus produces an unpleasant odour when attacked particularly when the foliage is wet. Viburnum beetle overwinters as eggs that are deposited in the bark of stems in late summer by the beetles. The larvae then emerge in April / May to feed on the leaves, before dropping to the floor and pupating in the soil emerge as adults in late summer. Treat the larvae with Nemasys F&V - EITHER treat the larvae on the bushes in April / May by sprayed 3 times at 7 day intervals. Then drench the soil UNDER and around the bushes with F&V (3 times at 7 day intervals) to target the larvae before they pupate (May - July).
