An effective Slug Pellet suitable for organic gardening! These lentils have been impregnated with Ferric Phosphate, which turns them into a highly effective slug bait / pellet, which the slugs love (they are easily consumed), but are approved for organic use, are safe for animals and birds and are very easy to use. These Lentil Slug Pellets come in a re-sealable 300g pouch, which will treat up to 500 sqm. Being high-strength you only need 40 lentils (or 0.6g) per sqm – simply scatter onto moist bare soil around flowers / vegetable plants to be protected. Use as needed throughout the season to keep slugs under control aiming to apply no more than 5 times a year i.e. re-apply every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing season. These Lentil Slug Pellets come in a re-sealable 300g pouch, which will treat up to 500 sqm. Being high-strength you only need 40 lentils (or 0.6g) per sqm – simply scatter onto moist bare soil around flowers / vegetable plants to be protected. Try to avoid creating piles of bait or that they become trapped in leaves. These pellets are attractive to both adult and juvenile slugs. Use early in the season to get on top of your slug problem and then repeat as needed throughout the season to keep slugs under control aiming to apply no more than 5 times a year i.e. re-apply every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing season.
