Slugs and snails hate copper because of a reaction between their mucus and the copper. This NEW Copper Slug and Snail Mesh is a great way to protect raised beds from BOTH slugs and snails. It can also be used to protect plants in borders and plants in small pots as well. This flexible mesh is 10cm wide and can easily be cut with scissors. Being flexible it is easy to mould into shape, so it can be formed into circles that can be put around plants in borders or used to plug holes in greenhouses that slugs enter through. It is also ideal for attaching around the edge of wooden raised beds i.e. attach using staples / tacks to form a barrier slugs and snails will not cross. Being a tube of mesh, it can also be slipped over the bottom of pots up to 10cm in diameter at the base to form a mesh “sock”. Available in 2 sizes 4.5m and 10m rolls. N.B. 4.5M SOLD OUT.

Best copper anti slug and snail product I’ve used. Order arrived promptly and no issues.

I recommend this. I bought some a couple of weeks ago and have seen very good results. Not only have i used it attached to raised beds and planter edges I’ve also used it as a ‘collar’ for young french beans by planting them inside a 6 inch cut off section. Visible signs of healthy re growth on slug and snail damaged plants and no further signs of damage.

Good products, I bought the ant away, can’t remember exact name but it worked a treat, my fig tree is now back to life. Also bought a roll of copper mesh which is really good as you can manipulate it much easier than the copper rings.

Arrived next day. Wow! Went out with a torch in the dusk and did not find a single slug wandering around the copper mesh barriers. Hope going to work out in my gardens.

You may be interested to see the effectiveness of your copper mesh in inhibiting slugs. We are plagued by the things, and my wife bought last week a number of your copper rings, and rolls of mesh. This morning I was attaching the mesh to one of our raised beds. Very quickly a slug climbed up and onto the mesh. After about 30 seconds it stopped moving. After another few minutes it decided it didn’t like it, and looked for a way back down. About 10 seconds later, it just dropped off. A very impressive result, photographed in real time! Thank you!
