This unique WormBag Wormery complete with a metal stand is the NEW way to compost kitchen waste using worms. This wormery is much easier to use, while creating the perfect conditions for worms to thrive.  Worms thrive because air can flow through it and any liquid constantly drains, so there is NO risk of the wormery becoming water-logged. Like other wormeries it converts your kitchen waste into compost and liquid feed using worms (worms eat half their own body weight a DAY), but because it is designed to be hung up, it is easy to feed, there is no heavy lifting and it is very easy to empty.  The WormBag Hanging Wormery comes complete with a metal stand and its huge 150L capacity means it can easily handle the kitchen waste from a family of up to 6. It is made from a waterproof, breathable and strong fabric that will last for years and features a drawstring with locking toggles in the base and a strong, zippered lid. ‎The WormBag Hanging Wormery comes in a single box containing the fabric wormery, metal stand and full instructions. How does it work? When you are ready to start, site your wormery in a sheltered spot where it is protected from the worst of the weather – a shed, garage or porch is ideal. Assemble the stand (simply clicks together without the need for tools) and suspend the wormery. Simply add the soaked coir bedding and then wait a day before adding the worms. Now you can start feeding your worms – add a small amount of kitchen waste to the wormery and place a small bucket under the hanging wormery to collect any liquid and leave the worms to settle in. Feed your worms small amounts of kitchen waste on a regular basis increasing the amount as the worms breed. When the wormery is full and you are ready to harvest the compost, release the buckles and drawstring and let the fully worked compost simply drop out. Any worms which fall out can be returned to the top of the wormery. The compost can be used as a top dressing and any liquid can be diluted 10 – 1 and used as a liquid feed.
