These SLOW RELEASE Slug Nematodes are encapsulated in small pellets, which means they LAST LONGER, they do NOT need to be refrigerated, you can use what you want and close the lid until the next time and are VERY easy to apply i.e. just shake them out over the surface of the compost. Slugs are the No.1 garden pest causing holes in your hostas, pits in your potatoes & lettuce looking like lace. Tackle them by applying SLOW RELEASE Slug Nematodes containing natural nematodes (phasmarhobditis hermaphrodita) directly to borders / vegetable garden / pots where slugs are a problem. Apply once the soil temperature is above 5°C i.e anytime between March and October. SLOW RELEASE Slug Nematodes contain harmless nematodes, which will control slugs, but are safe to use on food crops, safe for children, pets and wildlife and are very easy to apply. Supplied in a shaker tube, this pack contains 15 million nematodes and will treat up to 20 sqm. Simply repeat as often as is needed to keep the area free of slugs – it is impossible to overdose & is totally safe to use near food crops. Available NOW.
