The Ceramic Bumblebee Nester provides a dry and ventilated home for bumblebees that looks good in the garden and being frost-resistant it can be left in position all year round. Mini mammals such as voles and shrews, will also find it attractive, but don’t be disappointed if you get a mouse / vole or shrew starts nesting in it for the first year as bumblebees often seek out old mouse nests to nest in, so this will make it more attractive to bumblebees in the following years. The Ceramic bumblebee and Mammal Nester includes natural nesting material and instructions for siting and use. Dimensions – H 18cm x W 19cm x D 19cm.

“I have been wanting a bumblebee house for ages and the one from Green Gardener is brilliant. Well designed and frost proof it arrived really promptly and can’t wait for Spring. I have also ordered ladybirds with a tower in the past and was thrilled to watch the larvae develop. I hope more people visit and use their website as nature needs everyone to be involved.”

We bought the solitary Bee houses & The Bumble Bee cone – beautiful products. And the copper tape keeps the snails away!

Lovely item and delivered on time.
Only thing is that all 4 ventilation holes are sealed up, so be prepared to use a drill. You can see where they should be.
I tried first not doing this, but it got wet inside.
Nothing wil thrive in those conditions.
