We are super happy. I’ve got the ladybirds the second morning after I did my order with first class. I put them together with my plant what I want to save from the aphids (bear’s garlic). They started to eat them straight away and I also gave them a fresh picked elderflower because when I cut the flower I saw some similar creatures on in then the aphids just dark colour. It looks the ladybirds like this dark creatures to eat too. My 4 years old enjoys to watch them too, we put the ladybirds into our butterfly pop-up net. We are exiting to see the eggs later. Thank you very much

I ordered ladybirds to help handle the blackfly eating my cherry blossom tree – I didn’t want to buy anything that might hurt the bees that come to my garden, and this seemed like an excellent solution. The ladybirds arrived just a few days after I ordered, I ordered one lot of 25, of which only 1 was dead on arrival, which is actually miraculous because our postman didn’t bother to hand the parcel to us, leaving out on the step in the heat without notifying us of it’s presence, so they were outside in a heatwave all packed up for most of a day and still mostly came out unscathed. We opened the box beneath the tree after ensuring the leaves were wet as directed, and sure enough, they gradually made their way up and around and before long were happily munching on the pests. 1000/10 will be buying again in future.

We had an issue with the ladybirds but Jon swiftly dealt with it (on a Sunday!) and we are thrilled with them. Have settled well in the garden and are hopefully sorting out the pests. Brilliant customer service.

Excellent company. Humans to speak to if info wanted. Great products. We have been buying butterflies, and ladybirds both adult and larvae for years, plus this year we have had mason bees and a temporary bee hive which is thriving and full of bees.

2nd year i have bought lady birds and they have solved our black fly problem on beans and other plants. This year with cold and wind i thought I would lose them when I released but enough hung around to do the job. This autumn a bug house.

We ordered ladybugs and their larvae to help with the blackfly on our runner beans. Although we never saw the larvae, there have been no blackfly. Thank you. We’ll have some more next year.

  18. Mark Gollings (verified owner)

It was a bit weird buying ladybirds to place in our garden when they would most likely fly away! However it has been a few weeks and there are more ladybirds than usual around the pond we have so all good. The ladybirds arrived well packaged and as said they would.

  19. Christopher Helliwell (verified owner)

I purchased some ladybirds to deal with a bad black fly problem. Two weeks later there is no sign of the problem. Ladybirds dip arrived quickly and helpful guidance was enclosed. Thx.

  20. Catherine Hughes

Great service, they are very good munchers for the protection of my David Austin Roses

  21. Sheena Peckham (verified owner)

I bought a ladybird house and barn as well as a selection of ladybirds and larvae (twice) to help save my tree riddled with aphids. It was immensely satisfying to see the ladybirds start taking care of business as soon as released but also satisfying to see the larvae grow from one life stage to the next before finally becoming ladybirds. I bought a LOT of ladybirds and larvae, and it’s been very successful though requires some patience. Instructions were clear and the ladybirds arrived in a timely manner. Would definitely order again if needed in the future. I’ve also recommended to family who’ve now ordered their own ladybirds and larvae.

  22. Ginny Long (verified owner)

I first bought ladybird larvee. Only saw one & it ran off. Then I bought adults. They were amazing!

Quick delivery of Ladybirds and larvae sorted out an infestation of aphids on my rose bushes in no time, without having to resort to nasty chemicals. I would definitely use green gardener again 😊

Extremely good, so good that the Nemaslug nematodes are often out of stock! The ladybirds were very good, ordered more and some more lacewings.

  28. Sarah Henshelwood (verified owner)

Speedy delivery and very healthy ladybirds. Thank you.

25 Ladybirds arrived in a small plastic box and they were released into the garden around various rose bushes. The roses buds were covered in a mixture and of black and green aphids and a small number of scale bugs, the most I have seen in a long time. I witnessed one ladybird, immediately after being released, hurry to an aphid and trap it for its first meal after release. The ladybirds have not been seen since but after two weeks there are now hardly any aphids or sap sucking bugs and the roses look much healthier, no more buds dying back and much fewer discoloured or dropping leaves. The ladybirds are doing their work and I have not had to use any nasty chemicals. Reccomended, give them a try!

I have bought live ladybirds from this company for the past two years – each time they have arrived intact, all you have to do is release them onto your rose bush and the green fly disappear within a couple of weeks. Beautiful roses for the rest of the season and no pesticides required. I’ll continue to buy from this company forever!

Excellent service. I bought Larvae & adult ladybirds twice. First purchase was a trial to see if they worked. They did, so I bought more. Great natural solution to an infestation problem. Highly recommended. Will definitely use again next year, if the problem recurs. All my plants are healthy & bug free now. Thank you.

The insects I ordered did the job and the customer service from Green Gardener was great. Quick and really helpful response from Jon to some questions I had was much appreciated. Lacewing larvae sorted out a huge population of aphids on my roses and adult ladybirds have settled all over the garden, keeping things in check.
