"Dear Jon and all at Green Gardener, I just wanted to say how brilliant the slug rings are – my delphiniums and other plants which by now usually have large holes in them are growing absolutely fantastically well. I’ve just received a delivery of the coir pots which are also an excellent product at a very reasonable price. Finally, we had a very cold night over the weekend and I was pleased to see my first ladybirds using the ladybird house I had just put out in the garden. I will be investing in some other wildlife shelters before the winter. I hope you’ve got the message your products are brilliant and I wish more people would consider this way of gardening than pulverising everything with chemicals. Keep up the good work." Terry Lane

Vegetable growers pack "I raised a wonderful crop of tomatoes and cucumbers in 2007, using coir pots. Seeds were sown individually into midi Fertego pots. Potted into midi & then maxi coir pots, before being planted into grow bags. At no time did I touch the roots or stems. The result - healthy plants with a great root system that cropped until Nov." This system can be used for a whole range of vegetable plants both underglass and outside. The vegetable growers pack contains 15 x Midi Fortego pellets, 12 x Midi & 12 x Maxi Coir Pots packed in Jute bag - a great gift! £22.99 Add Item to Shopping Basket

New Product - Gardeners' Gold Organic Wormcast fertiliser - When we discovered that one of the biggest worm farms in the UK was here in Norfolk we paid them a visit. There were millions of worms in rows in the fields all chomping their way through waste products and turning them into something worthwhile. After digesting the waste for a couple of years they produce a natural ,chemical free fertiliser that yields bumper crops of vegetables and flowers that are blooming marvellous.

  • Use it as a soil improver - add 20% wormcasts to the soil or compost.

  • Revive used grow bags, pots and baskets and use them again! - Replace 20% of the old compost with wormcasts and use them again for another season.

New Product - Gardeners' Gold Organic Wormcast fertiliser - The pure worm casts aren’t padded out with bedding or water, but come dried, sieved and ready to use.

  • 100% organic (and peat free too)

  • Rich in enzymes, micro organisms and nutrients - naturally made and full of goodness

  • N 3.2% P 2.2% K1.7% and pH 7.2

Special Thanks - We were so impressed by this 100% naturally produced fertiliser that we didn’t really mind standing in that bitterly cold field with a lazy Norfolk wind going straight through us. Our thanks to worm farmer Niels Olesen, who shared his expertise and experience with us and we hope to work together to bring you the best worms and pure worm casts.

  2. In the garden - Simply fill the compostable paper liners with garden waste and discard the liner along with its contents!

These compostable paper bin liners have been certified as 100% compostable and they have been awarded the European Certificate of Compostability EN13432:2000 which means they are safe for composting and include no harmful substances. Our paper bin liners are:
