These Planting Biscuits containing Mycorrhizal Fungi are the easy way to give your plants the best start in life. Simply add the Planting Biscuits to the planting hole and position your plants on top. There are 2 different ones available for Hanging Baskets / Containers and for Tomatoes.
These Mycorrhizal Fungi Planting Biscuits are formed from compressed coir fibre and contain Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi, beneficial bacteria and slow release balanced fertilisers to give your plants the best start in life. When watered, the biscuit will swell up to 5 times its original size and all the beneficial microbes will start to grow, bringing the compost to life. The other components will provide a steady release of nutrients and trace elements for up to four months whilst the water retaining crystals will help prevent your compost drying out. These biscuits are very easy to use - simply pop one in the bottom of the planting hole and plant the plant on top. There is no waste as you use 1 biscuit per plant. There are two different biscuits available :-
- Basket / Container Biscuits - Your hanging basket and containers will never look better! Half fill the basket or container, evenly spread out the biscuits – for small baskets / pots (7 litres) add 2 biscuits and for larger baskets 15 litres use 3 or 4.
- Tomato Biscuits – Perfect for grow bags, these biscuits ensure you get the best from your tomatoes, salad and vegetables. Add 1 biscuit per plant.
