Made in the UK – Made from 100% BRITISH straw, these NEW Slug and Snail Straw Pellets with Neem are placed around plants in pots / borders to form an effective mulch that stops slugs and snails in their tracks as well as suppressing weeds and reducing water loss and improving soil condition. The pellets absorb liquid to form a dry spikey layer on top of the soil that irritates the slugs and snails, so they move away. Neem is a natural product, which is well known for its natural insecticidal qualities so by adding it to the pellets, it makes it even more effective. Supplied in 5 litre bags, which will cover approx 0.75 sqm.

Slug and Snail Straw Pellets with Neem are 100% natural, are safe for pets and wildlife and are very easy to use. Once the pellets have been spread over the surface and watered (or wait for it to rain), they expand and form a dry spikey layer on top of the soil, which will not blow or wash away. The fibres in the straw pellets stop the slugs and snails by making it uncomfortable for the slug or snail to crawl across, while the additional Neem acts like a natural insecticide repelling them as well . The pellets ALSO form an effective mulch, which reduces moisture loss from the soil and suppresses weeds. They eventually break down to release plant nutrients into the soil.
