Wireworm and Lawn Flea Control
Wireworms are a soil based pest that attack potatoes, carrots and other root crops in late summer and autumn and because of their extended lifecycle, they can be hard to control. Control wireworms (and other soil based pests) by treating your vegetable garden with Biobug Soil Improver and or watering with Wireworm Nematodes.
- Biobug Soil Improver - Biobug is a pelleted soil improver, which contains high levels of Chitin (contained in insect skins), which has been shown to reduce wireworms and other soil based pests.
- Wireworm Nematodes - These natural Wireworm Nematodes are effective at controlling wireworms.
Lawn Fleas - Fleas bother our pets and they bite us stopping us enjoying our garden, nematodes have been used successfully to control fleas in lawns and now these same Lawn Flea Nematodes are available to you.
- Lawn Flea Nematodes - 3 sachets of Lawn Flea Nematodes that are applied to grass 3 times at 7 day intervals to control flea larvae. Apply with a watering can or hose-end feeder when the soil temp is above 12C.
