After a few years’ absence (moved house, different garden needs..!) I returned to Green Gardener to order some hosta halos. I’d ordered them in the past, but had forgotten….and when I was given some beautiful hostas as a gift, I wanted to keep my “sluggy chums” away. The ones I saw in garden centres were flimsy and didn’t look like they’d last the year, and then I remembered the Green Gardener ones I had bought several years before, which were still going strong. So, I ordered 2 packs of 6. The website was easy to navigate and I placed my order on a Sunday afternoon, and received my goods on the Tuesday morning! Brilliant! My hostas are happily “haloed” and so are my lupins. Thanks so much

Hosta halos were just what I needed. My hostas are now growing a pace without succumbing to slugs & snails. Pleased I discovered them.

I have bought live ladybirds and their larvae to help my roses and a ladybird house which have really helped to keep the aphids down naturally. I have also bought some of their solutions to keep slugs off my Hosta’s (Slug Collars) cruelty free and as I have 2 hedgehogs in the garden they are partial to a slug or two and I don’t want to hurt them. Love Green Gardener. The products and solutions are wonderful.

We planted several seeds in the ground with lots of organic slug pellets but no other protection three weeks ago and also planted the same seed in the same kind of earth with a Hosta Halo and put the lid on last week. The seeds made more progress in a week in the Hosta Halo than the plainly planted seeds have made in three weeks. THEY’RE GREAT!

Wow these actually work!! We moved house and all of my prized plants are still in pots. The snails literally munch every spec of new growth on my dahlias, delphiniums and verbena. I only bought 6 of these and wish I’d bought a whole lot more because I still have lots of pots being decimated each night.

I’ve just put in my third order for Hosta Halo’s, and wanted to drop you a note to say that this is one of the best products I’ve come across in years! For the first time my husband and I have been able to grow delphiniums, hollyhocks and dahlias in our Cornish garden (slugs and snails LOVE Cornwall!); and our runner and French beans are more successful than ever before.
