The collars have a lip that forms a physical barrier slugs and snails cannot get over and are perfect for protecting all types of plants including hostas, delphiniums, lupins and dahlias from slugs and snails. These new Metal Slug Collars look much more stylish than the highly effective plastic ones – simply place over new shoots and push gently into the ground to form a barrier against slugs and snails that is effective and looks great in any border. Once in position, they will also protect plants from over enthusiastic hoeing and mulching as well! These standard Metal Slug Collars come in packs of 2, while the large ones can be bought individually.
