The reason for my 3 stars is that the applicator I thought worked hadn’t the 1st time I used it. Now I know that the applicator of Nematodes and water should empty even through connected to the water supply. After my 8 minutes of spraying I had a full applicator or water. I have since washed the applicator and then tried the applicator with just water and it did empty when attached to the hose. The sad thing is that it was raining for 3 days when I did it. Weather wasted and my money wasted as well. Lesson learn’t. I do help this assists others.

Bought the EasyNem Applicator a while ago to apply ant nematodes to my lawn and was impressed with how easy it was to use.
After reading other reviews, I looked to remove the filter, but it didn’t have one so might’ve been removed for me prior to dispatch.
I did experiment with just water in the bowl so I could get a feel for how slow/fast the application rate was and how quickly I’d use up the solution on an area. My water pressure isn’t great, so I increased the application rate (easy to do with the dial on the top) until I got a good steady rate.
I think setting it up with just water paid dividends, as applying the Ant nematodes was quick and easy. I now use the applicator with liquid lawn fertilizer, liquid weedkiller, and iron phosphate (made into a solution) and it works brilliantly.
For applying any liquid treatment, I’d thoroughly recommend this applicator.

In reply to Patti. Thanks for the message and start the dial in the middle at 120ml and then turn it up or down depending on whether you want it to speed up or slow down. The spray setting i.e. the one looks like a sieve should be at the top. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

Hi. Am I supposed to set the dial around the lid of the applicator to a specific ml setting? Also the red nozzle on the end has various holes – which one should be at the top? Many thanks

This year I ordered products to deal with blanket weed in our small pond and nematodes to deal with ants – we have a great number. The pond treatment Clarity was effective, as to the nematodes, it is hard to say as we treated fairly late in the season and the weather has now changed – we may have to await the next season. The EasyNem applicator worked well.

Thanks for the message and we do include instructions for applying some of our other sprays with the applicator, but it is impossible to include instructions for all as it all depends on the dilution you need. I have emailed you instructions for our Root Success product which is applied at a rate of 20ml per 10 sqm. You should be able to work out the application timings for your spray from that.
