These lentils have been impregnated with Ferric Phosphate, which turns them into a highly effective slug bait / pellet, which the slugs love (they are easily consumed), but are approved for organic use, are safe for animals and birds and are very easy to use. These Lentil Slug Pellets come in a re-sealable 300g pouch, which will treat up to 500 sqm. Being high-strength you only need 40 lentils (or 0.6g) per sqm - simply scatter onto moist bare soil around flowers / vegetable plants to be protected. Use as needed throughout the season to keep slugs under control aiming to apply no more than 5 times a year i.e. re-apply every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing season.
