This battery free, re-usable pH Meter is ideal for monitoring the pH of your wormery on an on-going basis. Worms hate acid conditions and acidic foods such as onions and citrus peel (orange and lemon peel) can lower the pH of your wormery. The ideal pH for a wormery is 7, so check your wormery with a pH meter and then add lime mix to increase the pH until 7 if needed. This pH Meter is also ideal for use in the garden for checking conditions for acid loving plants i.e. heathers, rhododendrons and for monitoring the pH of your lawn – lawns prefer slightly acidic conditions.
