A worm eats half its own body weight in waste a day, so the more worms you have, the more kitchen waste you can compost i.e. 1kg of worms will compost 500g of kitchen waste a day. Our composting worms are a mixture of Eisenia and Dendrabenas and are ideal for topping up your wormery. They are despatched by 1st class post and are sold by weight. They are also ideal for :- 
The Worm Works - The square design of this wormery makes it easy to fit on a table, counter or in the corner of a garage or greenhouse. The Worm Works is made from high quality recycled plastic & is very simple to assemble. It can be kept inside or out - mine is outside for the summer and in the greenhouse for the winter. Start by adding the worms and the kitchen waste to the bottom tray. Once this is full, start filling the next tray & then the next tray and so on. The worms start "eating" the kitchen waste in the bottom tray & once finished, they move up to the next tray.
The Worm Works comes complete with 3 or 4 trays, a lid, tap, a coir bedding block and 2kg of lime mix and full instructions. You can choose to either have your wormery despatched with 250g of LIVE WORMS (set it up within 48 hours of receipt) or for a gift choose a WORM VOUCHER (simply exchange the voucher for worms when convenient).
The Original Wormery - This is a safe, simple and environmentally friendly wormery is made from tough polythene and has a lockable, double sealed & hinged lid. It can be kept inside or outside, where it will be active all year round. The wormery is pleasant and odour free as the worms work so fast that they prevent the wormery smelling. The Original Wormery can compost the waste from a family of four. Once your wormery is full, it will contain fully worked compost in the bottom and partly digested kitchen waste on the top where all the worms will be busy. Simply remove the top layer (approx 5") containing all the worms and then tip out the compost underneath. Once empty place the top layer containing all the worms back in the bottom of the wormery and start the whole process again. You should expect to do this twice a year producing 90 litres of compost each time. The liquid feed should be drained regularly from the tap on the front.

The Junior Wormery - Create your own everlasting supply of top quality compost and liquid feed by composting kitchen waste with worms on a much smaller scale. The Junior Wormery is so small and neat that it is ideal for use indoors. It is ative all year round, oroduces 20 litres of compost PLUS liquid feed, which is easily harvested from the tap in the front. Diameter 34cm x Height 44 cm. Comes complete and ready to start.
Wormery Rescue Kit - It contains everything you need to get the wormery started again producing top quality compost and liquid feed. The kit contains everything you need to revive an old wormery including 250g of composting worms, a coir bedding block, 2 kg lime mix, 2kg worm treat and full instructions.
Kitchen Caddy - Use a caddy to collect your kitchen waste before taking it to your wormery or composter. These caddies have an activated carbon filters fitted in the lid, which stops any food smells and the airtight lid keeps flies out. 4.5 litre capacity. Dimensions 20cm (high) x 20cm x 26cm.
Lime mix - Add a handful of lime mix every couple of weeks to your wormery. It's a great tonic, stops acid build up (worms hate acid conditions - the ideal pH for a wormery is 7), aids the worm's digestion and has drying properties making it ideal for wet or under- performing wormeries. 
Worm Treat - Worm Treat is a natural accelerator, which makes worms work better in your wormery. It's a special mixture of all the things worms love best. Add a few handfuls of Worm Treat every couple of weeks. Worm Treat's absorbent qualities make it ideal for wet or soggy wormeries.
pH Meter - This battery free, re-usable pH meter is ideal for monitoring the pH of your wormery on an on-going basis. It is also ideal for use in the garden. Worms hate acid conditions, so check the pH of your wormery simply and easily with this battery- free PH meter. Ideal PH for your wormery is 7.
Diatomaceous Earth - Control any flies in your wormery using Diatomaceous Earth (DE). WITHOUT using chemicals. Simply add a dusting of DE to the surface of the wormery.
