Adult Ladybirds - We supply native British Adalia bipunctata ladybirds in tubes / tubs of 25 ready for release in your garden. Green Gardener only supplies native British Adalia bipunctata ladybirds - we do NOT supply Harlequin ladybirds. Ladybirds are natural predators of aphids (greenfly and blackfly) as well as being a gardener's / youngster's favourite. By releasing ladybirds, you can permanently increase the number of these beneficial insects in your garden and decrease the number of pests.
Ladybird Larvae - The larvae look nothing like their parents, but the have the same appetite for soft -bodied garden pests such as aphids (greenfly and blackfly). They are ideal for releasing directly onto plants heavily infected with aphids - as they they are unable to fly and will stay where you put them. Supplied in trays of 50, they are sent by 1st class post. 
Controlling aphids in conifers, trees and hedges - Conifers often develop unsightly brown patches and the R.H.S. confirms that Cypress Aphid (a type of Greenfly) is the cause in over half the cases. Aphids (Greenfly and blackfly) attacking trees is another BIG problem - control BOTH by releasing Ladybird Larvae instead, which are available NOW. Being mobile, the larvae will quickly spread out into the canopy to search out and devour aphids - they arrive very hungry and will quickly hunt out aphids wherever they are hiding. Introducing the larvae is easy with our NEW quick release system of 100 larvae with a cotton release bag.

Garlic Greenhouse Smoke - Fumigating a greenhouse with a sulphur candle has been the traditional way of clearing pests, but now you can replace these sulphur candles with a chemical-free garlic candle. This natural garlic candle is used in the same way as a sulphur candle i.e. simply place in your greenhouse, light the fuse and leave overnight. HOWEVER, unlike sulphur candles you do NOT need to remove the plants before using the Garlic Candle and they are safe to use in aluminium greenhouses and polytunnels. Garlic Greenhouse Smokes do not leave any smell or visible deposits in the greenhouse and they will not taint any fruit and / or vegetables. Each Garlic Greenhouse Candle is sufficient to treat approximately 20 cubic metres (equivalent to a 3m x 2m greehouse).

Citrox disinfectant - This natural disinfectant contains extracts of citrus fruit and is effective against a range of bacterial and fungal diseases. Citrox is ideal for cleaning greenhouses and conservatories (including glass, plastic, concrete and brickwork), water butts, bird tables and pots and trays. Citrox is ideal for keeping bird tables clean to minimise the spread of diseases. It can also be added to waterbutts (25ml per 100 litres of water) to keep the water clean and free from disease. 
Clearway - A non chemical treatment for algae and mould that really works. Clearway removes algal growth and mould and once clean, protects surfaces from further growth for at least 6 months. Use on existing patios, decking etc., but because of it’s protective action we recommend you also apply it to new structures, so they never get dirty in the first place. Keep your new decking looking like new by treating it BEFORE it gets dirty! Clearway contains no bleach or acids so is harmless to you, your pets and your plants - so if some runs off your patio onto the border it will not harm the plants. Simply, remove any loose debris, spray onto surface, allow to dry and walk away!
New - Garlic Wonder Fruit Tree Spray - This spray contains organic extract of garlic blended with seaweed and citrus, which will stimulate growth and encourage a healthy root system, so the plants are much MORE vigorous, produce MORE fruit and are MORE resistant to attack from both insects and fungal diseases. This new spray is suitable for all fruit trees and bushes and being chemical free is safe to use and is safe for the environment, people, pets, wildlife and beneficial insects. Supplied as a concentrate, simply dilute with water and then spray onto your fruit trees and bushes when the first signs of leaves appear. Within minutes the treated area will become odourless and Garlic Wonder will not taint the flavor of the fruit. Re-apply every 7-10 days throughout the growing season until you are ready to harvest. 
Winter Tree Wash - The best way of reducing pest numbers in fruit trees is to apply this organic winter wash to reduce overwintering pests and their eggs. This winter wash is based on natural plant oils which "dissolves" the eggs of pests such as greenfly, red spider mite etc. Apply to top and soft fruit at any time through the winter when the plants are dormant. Suitable for organic growers everywhere. 
Sulphur Rose Blackspot and Mildew Spray - For blemish free roses the natural way apply Sulphur Rose. Roses are a gardener's favourite, but often develop yellow leaves and black blotches i.e Blackspot & Mildew, which make the plants unsightly. Sulphur Rose is a brilliant spray on plant tonic which encourages healthy blemish-free growth. Spray throughout the year to encourage blemish free growth - Spray your plants during the dormant season, spraying the stems and the ground around the roses and then spray regularly through the growing season. During periods of high humidity and above average temperatures, apply every 14 days because these conditions encourage the spread of diseases. Sulphur Rose MUST be applied to both the underside and top of all the leaves. Sulphur Rose - a 250g pack keeps 20 roses healthy for one season.
Squirrel Repellent - Squirrels cause a lot of damage, ruining bird feeders often biting through wire to get at the food and digging up borders to feed on bulbs. Simply dust 100g of the repellent powder around feeders and borders to drive them away. It is safe to use around plants and trees! For hard to reach places, place 100g of squirrel repellent into the end section of a nylon stocking and tie up the ends to make a stocking ball. Attach to trees, birds tables or guttering. Squirrel repellent starts working immediately and is fully biodegradable. Repeat the process once every 2 months if the problem persists. Each 900g tub treats 8 sqm. 
Ratty Rat Repellent - Rats cause a lot of damage in houses, garages and sheds and can spread disease. Pictured left is damage to my own shed caused by rats chewing the wood. Simply dust ratty repellent powder around wheely bins, pet enclosures, rat runs, building and nests to drive then away. Apply the rat repellent twice a week for the first 2 weeks and then twice monthly - results will be seen within 2-3 weeks. Rat repellent starts working immediately, is fully biodegradable and repels MICE too! Each 900g tub treats 8 sqm.
Fox Repellent - This is one of our bestsellers - Foxes are becoming a real problem often attacking poultry, turning over bins, digging up lawns and even entering houses. Simply dust this repellent powder around bins, poultry sheds or buildings to stop them in their tracks. Apply the fox repellent twice a week for the first 2 weeks and then twice monthly - results will be seen within 2-3 weeks. It starts working immediately and is fully biodegradable. Each 900g tub treats 8 sqm.
Grazers repels rabbits, deer, pigeons and geese - Grazers is a liquid which is sprayed onto the foliage of any growing plant, where it is taken up by the plant making the foliage unpalatable to grazing animals. This nutrient based spray can be sprayed safely on ornamental plants, shrubs, bedding plants, fruit, vegetables and lawns. As well as protecting the foliage, the nutrients in the spray help the plant heal itself and repair any damage already caused by grazing. It is odourless to humans and is safe for children, pets and wildlife. It can be sprayed at any time of year, but is most effective when sprayed on new growth. You can also spray new plants BEFORE planting them in the garden. 350ml treats 1000 sqms of garden.
Pestclear Outdoors - Using ultrasonic technology, the Pestclear Outdoors clears the garden of unwanted visitors including cats, dogs, squirrels, foxes, badgers, deer and Rabbits WITHOUT harming them. The Pestclear Outdoors is inaudible to us, is safe and effective and will NOT affect fish or birds. The motion detector detects movement up to 70 ft. from the unit, which triggers a burst of powerful ultrasound, harmlessly scaring the intruder away. Site the unit on a wall, fence, post or tree ,so the sensor can detect pest movement in an "arc" over the garden. Nite Eyes - Repel Foxes and Badges with Nite Eyes as featured on BBC's Country File -This solar powered unit repels both foxes and badgers by mimicking the eyes of a predator. The solar powered unit charges by day and then comes on automatically at dusk (it automatically turns off again in the morning and starts charging again). Once it comes on , the two red LED lights in the front start to flash and it is this flashing of the lights that stops the fox / badger.
