Pest Alert - Customers are reporting large numbers of vine weevil about, so if you have spotted lots of adult vine weevils or grubs, treat with Nemasys® NOW to kill any grubs already present and then treat AGAIN in October (sent w/c 04/10) to kill any grubs present BEFORE the winter.

Vine Weevil infesation at Whitmore Wood - I have just discovered vine weevil in my hanging bags filled with Bizzie Lizzies. They had been looking sick for a number ofr weeks and dispite watering and feeding, they did not pick up. Last week the plants started to drop out as the plants had no root left - I immediatly knew then that it was vine weevil and quickly discovered them just under the surface. I will be treating with Nemasys® this weekend and again in early October.
