Camera Bird Boxes - Our Camera Bird Boxes are made from high grade Western Red Cedar (sourced from well managed forests), so they will last for years PLUS they offer the birds a well insulated nest site - BEWARE of cheap imitations made from plywood! They are fitted with either standard resolution CMOS cameras (420tvl)or high resolution CCD cameras (520tvl) - they all have infrared and audio built in, so they give fantastic picture quality and audio BOTH day and night. A built -in highly sensitive microphone helps you to hear as well as see what's going on inside the box too. The cameras fit neatly in the roof and there is only a single cable from the camera box to the TV, VIDEO or PC, which incorporates the video, audio and DC supply, so our boxes are very easy to install. Our boxes can easily be connected to a television/video or they can be connected to a PC via a video to USB adaptor. They come with either 20m or 30m of cable PLUS a scart adaptor, a 12v adaptor and full instructions. 10, 20 and 30m extension cables are also available, so you can extend the cable up to a maximum of 90m.

Camera Bird Box - Each box is supplied with removable front panel with a 32mm entrance hole making it suitable for the widest range of garden birds including Blue Tits, Coal Tits, Marsh Tits, Great Tits, House Sparrows, Robins (with the front panel removed) and possibly Wrens. Our boxes have small opaque windows in the side to allow just enough natural light in (B&W cameras do not need any extra light) for our cameras to produce great quality pictures - we DO NOT use any artificial white light ,which may deter birds from nesting. The camera is mounted in a sliding drawer in the roof of the house, so the camera (and all the connections) can be easily removed for cleaning or moving to a different box. The camera is held in place with a quick release camera mounting bracket, which holds the camera in the optimum position. The camera has an adjustable focus lens, which is pre-focused to the correct position, but it can be easily adjusted at a later date should you require.

Odd Box Colour Camera Bird Box - Side view nest box camera systems have been attempted in the past, but they have relied on a glass or clear Perspex divider between the camera and the nest to achieve the appropriate viewing angle. However, the inside of a nest box can be a messy place and although the parents try their best to keep the nest clean the glass divider can become smeared and dirty, which can ruin your view! The Odd Box Camera Bird Box eliminates this problems as it doesn’t require a glass divider.  The camera body and connections are mounted behind an opaque plastic panel fitted with a small slot for the camera lens to shoot through. As the camera is mounted at the top of the sloping side wall, nesting material and mess is kept well away in the nesting well at the base of the box.

Extension cables for Wired Camera Boxes / Feeders - All the boxes and the feeder are supplied with either 20m or 30m of video/audio/dc cable with a scart adaptor. To extend the range (up to a maximum of 90m), a range of extension cables are available - 10m, 20m and 30m.

Video To USB Adaptor - The easy way to attach any of our camera kits to your PC or laptop - all you need is a spare USB socket. There is no need to open your PC and install a card, just plug this adaptor into your USB port, connect the camera, load the software supplied and follow the instructions. The Video to USB adapter comes with software (including PowerDirector & PowerProducer), so you can watch, record and edit any footage you capture as well as additional software to help you create your own DVDs.
